Love clearly isn’t in the air in “Mad Men”, or if it is it’s gone topsy turvey. The only couple who’s relationship is actually going alright is between Roger’s daughter and her to be husband Brooks. However, their marriage isn’t scheduled until November 1963 so it seems bleek that it’ll actually last through till marriage .
We recently found out the Joan had been raped by an unknown suspect. Could it be Roger double dealing? Perhaps. We all know Roger secretly longs for Joan, even though he’s picked up his new young chick.
Mad Men is a story of 1960′s New York. It begins in a fictional advertising agency known as “Sterling Cooper”. It depicts the social and moral changes throughout America and the westeren world in the 1960′s.
The show has received several awards since it aired back in January of 2007. The new 3rd season first hit screens on August 16th 2009. It has one a total of six Emmy’s, three Golden Globes and a BAFTA award.
Some of the lead characters on the show are;
Don Draper, played by John Hamm, creative director of Sterling Cooper.
Peggy Olson, played by Elisabeth Moss, Draper’s secratary who quickly rises to become a copywriter with her own office to boot.

It is based around a young creative director for a lead advertising company “Sterling Cooper”, Don Draper played by John Hamm. Don really likes to live up to his name and acts as if he is the don of New York.
Since the show first debuted back in 2007 is has recieved an incredible amount of nominations and awards including; a BAFTA, 3 Golden Globes and 6 Emmys. It is the second cable drama show to recieve the Emmy for Oustanding Drama.

Peggy Olson (Elisabeth Moss), Originally Draper’s personal secretary who then rises on to become a leading copywriter and gets her own office. She falls pregnant to Pete Campbell although neither he or she knows that it was him until season 2′s finale.
